OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

Pelvic Meridian Therapy

A gentle, non-invasive therapy that stimulates key acupoints on the abdomen to support pelvic circulation, relieve lower abdominal tension, and promote women’s overall well-being.

Pelvic Meridian Therapy is a specialised Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy that focuses on selected meridians and acupoints around the lower abdomen and pelvic region.

Using gentle, targeted techniques, the practitioner stimulates selected meridian pathways and acupoints to support circulation, ease tension, promote relaxation, and maintain balance within the pelvic region.

Each treatment is personalised according to the individual’s TCM constitution, overall condition, comfort level, and wellness needs.

Women’s wellness:
For women seeking personalised TCM support to promote pelvic well-being, ease lower abdominal tension, and maintain overall menstrual and reproductive wellness.

Menstrual discomfort:
May be incorporated into a personalised TCM treatment plan for occasional menstrual discomfort, abdominal tightness, or feelings of pelvic tension.

Postpartum wellness:
May be considered as part of a personalised postpartum wellness programme once the body has sufficiently recovered and treatment is deemed appropriate by the practitioner.

General relaxation and wellbeing:
For those looking to promote relaxation and a greater sense of balance in the pelvic and lower abdominal region.

Pelvic Meridian Therapy may help promote circulation around the pelvic region, ease muscular and fascial tension, encourage relaxation, and support overall pelvic wellbeing.

As part of a personalised TCM approach, the treatment may also be used alongside lifestyle and wellness recommendations based on an individual’s constitution.

Is Pelvic Meridian Therapy only for women?
The treatment can be adapted according to individual needs. At REN, it may be particularly incorporated into women’s wellness programmes focusing on pelvic and lower abdominal wellbeing.

Is the treatment painful?
The treatment is generally performed using gentle, controlled pressure and stimulation. You may experience mild pressure, stretching, warmth, or temporary tenderness. The practitioner will adjust the intensity according to your comfort.

Does Pelvic Meridian Therapy involve internal treatment?
Treatment techniques are determined by the practitioner according to the individual’s condition and treatment protocol. Any treatment approach will be explained beforehand, and your comfort and consent are prioritised throughout the session.

Can I receive this treatment during my period?
It may be suitable for some individuals during menstruation, depending on their symptoms and overall condition. Your practitioner will assess whether the treatment is appropriate at that time.

Can Pelvic Meridian Therapy support fertility?
It may be incorporated as a complementary TCM wellness therapy for individuals with fertility-related wellness goals. However, it should not be presented as a treatment for infertility, and it does not replace assessment or treatment by a qualified fertility or medical specialist.

Can I receive Pelvic Meridian Therapy after giving birth?
Postpartum treatment should only be considered after appropriate recovery and assessment. The timing depends on the type of delivery, recovery progress, and individual condition. Your practitioner can advise whether and when the treatment is appropriate.

How many sessions are needed?
The recommended number of sessions varies according to your constitution, symptoms, treatment goals, and response to treatment. Your practitioner will recommend a personalised treatment schedule.
